After more than a decade of deployments, underways, and constant separations, our family has finally reached the moment that we’ve been waiting for: shore duty.

As much as we had been dreaming of this moment the journey has certainly kept us on our toes. It’s been several months of housing disappointments, stresses over whether or not we could keep our animals, tight timelines, bruised egos, long car trips, and canceled flights, but as of today our family officially has a home again. According to a brief Google search, this was originally called the “Amos L. Latham House” ¬†and it was built in 1785. More research is needed to verify the chain of ownership and to reveal this home’s rich past, but for now, I’d like to introduce our family and friends to what we’re calling “The Latham House Revival”
